Superior Chapters are required to meet 32 minimum hours of Professional and Service Activities per Member/Candidate of their chapter. This is 12 hours above what is required by Chico State Beta Alpha Psi members.

The Delta Zeta Chapter was able to achieve Superior Status through multiple opportunities facilitated by the Officer Team. One example we feel is unique to Chico State, is that we allow our members and candidates the chance to take professionals attending our meetings out to dinner beforehand. This is a great opportunity to get to know recruiters and staff on a more personal basis in a less stressful environment. In addition, we overcome our distance by planning multiple firm tours throughout the year with firms in Sacramento as well as the Bay Area.

Along with our unique Professional Activities, we also host an outstanding VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. During 2018, we had 46% of our members participate volunteering a total of 570 hours.

We are extremely proud of our chapters achievements and will continue to strive for Superior Status in the years to come.
