Meet the Firms is the premier recruiting event for accounting students at California State University, Chico.
Chico State’s Meet the Firms (MTF) is held virtually.
When: Friday September 16th, 2022
Time: 5:00pm-8:00pm
Where: On a Zoom conference call (invite will be sent out a week in advance)
Dress code: The dress code will be business professional
What to Prep:
Begin updating your resume. The deadline is the Friday before MTF (Our VP Jesse Alcantar will be receiving them via email: csuc.bap.vptech@gmail.com).
Please make sure to have a camera and a clear microphone.
History
Meet the Firms takes place in the Fall and was previously hosted in the Bell Memorial Union at Chico State. This year it will be held via a Zoom conference call. All accounting students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
In 2017, the university hosted 26 firms, 2 CPA review courses, and a Master's program to network with the 100 students in attendance. This event supplies students with career opportunities at all levels: summer leadership programs, internships, and jobs.
